It was Saturday night and the weather was fantastic. It was not too hot and not too cold, just perfect. I grabbed my camera and tripod in the backpack and started the photowalk.
Recently I bought the old lens from the USSR and an adapter for my Canon EOS 600D. This night was optimal to try this lens out. I grabbed also my tripod and wide lens for cityscape of Nuremberg.
Helios 44M-4 is very cheap lens from USSR but have a great quality and awesome bokeh. The only disadvantage is a manual focus. When photographing you need more time for focusing, but you have a great control. I think with a little bit of practice, I will also be able focusing faster. I live relative close to downtown a few minutes on foot to the castle. I photographed everything on the way to castle. In conclusion, I can only say that the short distance shoots are the best. Look at this bokeh it’s awesome!
